Nursing home administrators are responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the operation of a nursing home. They must meet the qualifying and practice standards established by the Nursing Home Administrators Board.
The Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) oversees regulation of nursing home administrators and other health and related professions in collaboration with profession-specific volunteer citizen boards and councils. To access OHLA's home page, go to Department at the top of the left navigation menu and click on Oregon Health Licensing Agency.
