THE INVASION OF THE SMOKE ALARMS - DOOR-TO-DOOR SMOKE ALARM CAMPAIGN WORKSHOPS
OSFM invites local fire departments to attend a free workshop on The Invasion of the Smoke Alarms door-to-door campaign. Those attending the workshop will receive a free kit for the fire department. When the fire department's campaign application is accepted by the OSFM, the department may receive up to 50 free smoke alarms and $250 for each campaign.

The Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) and Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) are hosting two, 2-day National Fire Academy courses April 26-29, 2010 at the Oregon Public Safety Academy (OPSA) in Salem, Oregon.

MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING FIRE REDUCTION PROGRAM - A TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue (TVF&R) is conducting a free Train-the-Trainer workshop on the Multi-Family Housing Fire Reduction Program, at the Office of State Fire Marshal. This workshop is brought to you in partnership with the Office of State Fire Marshal and the Oregon Life Safety Team. The workshop is designed to help fire departments develop their own Fire and Life Safety Training program for Apartment Managers.
